Randy Hagler, President of the North Carolina Fraternal Order of Police, announced the organization's endorsements in statewide political races at the conclusion of the organizations 2016 Biennial Conference held in Asheville, NC.
For a candidate to receive the endorsement of the North Carolina Fraternal Order of Police, he or she must receive a majority vote of the delegates attending the State Conference. Unlike many law enforcement organizations in this state, the North Carolina Fraternal Order of Police’s endorsements are the decisions of its membership and not just a small handful of members.
